The smallest of Raja Ampat’s four main islands, Batanta is the perfect introduction to the beauty of the reef and rainforest.

Day 2 - Kawe Island

  • One of the closest islands to the Equator in Raja Ampat, Kawe Island offers spectacular white sand beaches and beautiful scenery including a lovely waterfall on the western side of the island. There are also fantastic opportunities for diving and snorkeling here where you will find impressive coral formations teeming with schools of fish. You may even be lucky enough to swim with manta rays.

Day 3 - Wayag Island

  • Arrive in the Wayag archipelago, the jewel of Raja Ampat, and enjoy a day amongst the region’s most iconic scenery. It’s well worth making the effort to climb one of the many island peaks for breathtaking views of the stunning landscapes. You will also be able dive or snorkel, experiencing the incredibly rich marine life, or paddle board along the shoreline of the dramatic limestone islands. In the evening we can enjoy a few cocktails and a barbecue on the beach.

Day 4 - Fam Island

  • This morning sail to the beautiful Fam Islands to enjoy hidden bays and sheltered blue lagoons. Explore by kayak or dive to see some of the most beautiful coral gardens in the region. In the early evening, we will take a sunset hike where you can reach the highest point on one of the islands and admire the panoramic views.

Day 5 - Tomolol (1,000 temples)

  • Early cruise to reach the amazing Tomolol Bay on Misool Island. The bay bristles with hundreds of small Karst formation islands, each completely different from one another. Dramatic scenery, yet very sheltered, it is a maze-like paradise, with crystal clear water, where it is easy to get lost. We visit a massive cave with stalactites and little windows of light from above, into which we can either swim or paddle into complete and silent darkness. It is a sacred place for the local people.

Day 6 - Farondi

  • This small group of islands is often the favorite place for divers due to its very specific seascape. You will see a great variety of marine life and amazingly diverse and colorful coral.

There are also perfectly rugged bays to explore in Kayak or paddleboard.

Day 7 - Pisang Island

  • This is a perfect place to spend a day on the way to kiti kiti In the middle of nowhere, you will find sheltered bays between a group of small islands with a beautiful beach, great diving and perfect for surface water sports.

Day 8 - Kitikiti waterfall

  • Arrive in the Wayag archipelago. The jewel of Raja Kiti Kiti is a large and powerful waterfall cascading directly into the sea in a beautiful bay. It has long been used by the locals to replenish their water supplies. We can enjoy a natural shower, lounge on the beach, explore the rainforest and maybe even spot a tree kangaroo. This is an interesting freshwater spot to dive or snorkel in, as it is home to still- undiscovered endemic species.

Day 9 - Triton Bay

  • Early morning arrival at the dramatic mouth of TritonBay, which extends some 50 kilometers inland, with coral reefs still flourishing in it. Rising ‘castles’ of limestone, and beyond them the high mountains of New Guinea’s virgin jungle. Exotic birds and insect-eating plants. Superb diving in crystal clear water with an immense variety of fish and coral.

Day 10 - Namatota

  • A short, early cruise brings us to Namatota. We visit the charming little village of “Maimai” to ask the chief for his permission to swim with the whale sharks. This is the only place in the world where they don not migrate, and haunt the ‘bagans’ or fishing platforms all year round. Sperm whales are often spotted here too. We then take a tender cruise to look for the very ancient cliff paintings which abound in the area.
