Mischief was launched in 2016 and joined the Samara Liveaboard fleet, alongside Samara I and Samara II, in 2022. She is 29 metres overall and 7.3 metres wide, with an ironwood and teak superstructure and a 400 hp Yanmar main engine. Solar panels charge her batteries during the day, so the machinery can be turned off at night; a watermaker produces two tonnes of fresh water a day.

She takes six guests in three cabins, looked after by a crew of ten. The Komodo Suite on the upper deck has a king-size bed, a separate sitting area and a lounge space of its own in front; the Sumba Cabin on the main deck has a king-size bed and a writing desk; the Banda Cabin can be made up as a double or as two singles separated by a partition. Breakfast and lunch are taken in the shaded main-deck dining area and dinner at an open-air table on the upper deck. Evening meals mix Indonesian and international dishes, often built around the day’s catch.

She is sold only as a whole-boat charter, and Samara Liveaboard runs its dedicated diving itineraries on her. PADI divemasters on board run Discover Scuba sessions for beginners, nitrox is available to certified divers, each guide takes no more than four guests, and a 100 hp RIB serves as tender. Dive charters leave Labuan Bajo and run three to eight days, and longer voyages reach Saleh Bay in Sumbawa for whale sharks, Alor, Raja Ampat and the Spice Islands.
